- Applicant must be at least 18 years old;
- have at least 6 months of approved ship service
- be in possession of a certificate of completion of the course “Training of a specialist in lifeboats and rafts and rescue boats other than high-speed rescue boats”, approved experience of at least 12 months in the last 5 years
- passing a test confirming a sufficient level of residual knowledge of the training program
Crew members, cadets and students of maritime educational organizations, and other persons who need to undergo training in the amount of the requirements of Section A-VI / 2 of the STCW Code.
building professional competence, in accordance with the specification presented in table A-VI / 2-1 of the STCW Code, sufficient for launching and commanding a lifeboat, liferaft or rescue boat in emergency situations, as well as operating a boat at oars, under a mechanical engine, using an inflatable life raft.
