Entry Requirements
- Each candidate for training in this program must have a valid certificate of completion of “Training in the use of radar station (radar)”
Purpose: practical and theoretical training of navigators on a radar simulator in order to maintain the required MC STCW 78 (section AI / 12, section BI / 12, tables A-II / 1, A-II / 2 ) with amendments to the level of competence, as well as IMO Model Courses 1.07, 1.08 in terms of the use of ARPAs in navigation, on the processing and use of radar information obtained from the radar indicator in order to ensure the safety of navigation in conditions of limited visibility.
Category of listeners: captains, chief mates, officers in charge of the watch, pilots who have previously completed initial training on the full course program and have experience in the practical use of radar and ARPA, and have successfully passed the entrance testing.
