Entry Requirements

• Successful implementation of the minimum requirements for the provision of basic first aid measures set out in chapter VI (section A-VI / I, tables A-VI / 1-3) of the STCW Convention.

Purpose : to provide trainees with knowledge, abilities, skills that meet the standard of competence in the field of first aid as specified in Regulation VI / 4, Section A-VI / 4 and Table A-VI / 4-1 of the International STCW Convention.

Category of listeners : All officers and ratings of sea-going ships, cadets (students) of maritime educational institutions.
