• Persons working or employed on a seagoing vessel other than passengers holding an Initial Safety Training Certificate

Target:

formation of students’ knowledge, abilities, skills that meet the standard of competence in initial training on safety on board, specified in Section A-VI / 1, tables: A-VI / 1-1, A-VI / 1-2, A-VI / 1-3, A-VI / 1-4 of the STCW Code

Category of listeners

Seafarers qualified in initial training in accordance with paragraph 2 of section A-VI / 1 of the STCW Code must provide evidence that, in the preceding five years, they have maintained the required standard of competence to enable them to assume the tasks, responsibilities and the responsibilities listed in column 1 of tables A-VI / 1-1 and A-VI / 1-2 of the STCW Code.
